Wild West

Haven't seen one of these police horses in a while.

Marine Corps Marathon

This was the view off the Key Bridge the morning of the race. Very dense fog with a blazing sun rising in the horizon. Some better pictures will be up later. Andrea rocked the race with a 3:47 along with her support crew of Andy, Jen, Christie, and Bobby. The real marathon was followed by a drinking marathon that evening. Good times.

True Floridians!!

Here, ladies and gentlemen, is our newest addition to the yard garden. It is a fairly mature key lime tree which, after careful planning (digging another hole that hit our main water line), we chose this beautiful spot on the east side of our house. We justified the location saying that the nasty thorns will help keep out intruders. I wouldn't have minded if we put it up a little further in the lawn to block our neighbors "Change" Obama sign. If I was more self conscious, I would have thought that she was trying to tell us something by how close she put the sign to our house. Photos coming soon. Back to our key lime tree....if we are lucky, and maybe with a good whack, it will deliver us with some Corona or pie bound fruit next season. Don't really know what else to do with them. So far our Florida edible yard garden consists of a large, but unhealthy, grapefruit tree, three
very healthy bananna trees, a dead avacado tree, our neighbors clementine tree which hangs over our yard, and now our new key lime tree. Sounds like the family will be getting citrus for future holiday gifts.

Cloudy Day at the Beach

Clearwater beach this cloudy afternoon. It's only 30 minutes from our house, but worlds away.

New Rays Hat

Just in case the bandwagon police come knocking, my alibi is that Andrea wouldn't let me buy a hat and as a perfect husband, I obeyed. Something about a recession and me not wearing hats enough.

Tampa Skyline

Here's a nice shot of our fair city from Ballast Point Park along Bayshore Blvd. Not too shabby, if you ask me. The skyline seems to have a nice slope to it on either side. I find myself taking our city's beauty for granted sometimes. I can't imagine Detroit has many views like this.

Work Post

If this post actually works, it may mean that I am better at figuring out blackberry issues than selling apartment buildings. Hopefully this market will turn around before we have kids so I can feed them and buy disposable diapers.
